Hey everyone...I'm considering buying a Nikon D3100. Just curious, what's the longest shutter speed on it and is it a good camera? Why/why not. Thankyou 
You can set the shutter speed to bulb so its as long as you like, 30 seconds is the longest before bulb though. I think it's a great camera but it's my first DSLR so I cant compare it to anything else out there.
